Brake Pressure Gauges

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Comparing hydraulic pressure at relevant points can help show how the system and proportioning hardware are behaving, but pressure is only one part of brake balance. Caliper size, rotor size, pad friction, tire grip, and mechanical condition still matter.

Choose a range that comfortably covers the hydraulic pressure the system can produce without putting normal readings at the extreme end of the scale. Brake pressure gauges are most useful for setup and diagnosis, so also match the fittings and test-point connection to the brake system you are measuring.
