Some T-One Connector harnesses, the ground wire is located in the incorrect cavity on the vehicle side of the harness connector. All current inventory is being reworked to correct this issue. For those with inventory, below is an in-field fix to make them function properly. 1. Using wire cutters, cut the white wire on the vehicle side of the tow plug connector. 2. Remove some insulation and place a ring terminal on the cut white wire. 3. Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connector. Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire with ring terminal using a screw. 4. WARNING: Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle and/or personal injury. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces.
