Description

The Malone Auto Racks VersaRail Rooftop Cross Bar System instantly transforms a bare roof into a functional and stable platform. Use it to transport bikes, boats, storage systems, or oversized loads from the hardware store. The VersaRail is designed for use as a temporary roof load carrying system and should not be left fitted to the vehicle when not in use. VersaRail Cross Bars are for vehicles with a bare roof, and installation utilizes straps that pass-through the interior of the vehicle. All items being carried require the use of front and rear tie-down straps (not included). This system is not suitable for use with vehicles equipped with side curtain or overhead airbags, as the straps can prohibit the air bags from deploying properly. It is not suitable for use with 2-door vehicles. The crossbars must be able to be positioned at least 24-inches apart for safe transport. Do not use these crossbars in the rain, as water can run down the attachment straps when wet and into the vehicle. Crossbars must be removed before entering a carwash. Bow and stern safety tie-downs (not included) are required for all Malone rooftop transport(s). Failure to correctly install and use safety tie-down lines voids all warranty and liability.
