This particular S-hook has a 13/32 diameter and offers a gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500 lbs. It also features a spring-loaded safety latch. Similar to a quick link, the safety latch allows for a safety chain connection that wont come loose from vehicle vibrations or jarring on uneven terrain. For added safety, this S-hook is tested in accordance with SAE J684.
