Differential Bearings

Frequently Asked Questions

Choose the kit for the exact axle or differential being serviced. Axle family, front or rear position, production range, and the bearings or races included can all affect fit. Confirm the axle identification and compare the kit contents with the repair before ordering; a bearing kit that fits a related axle is not automatically correct for yours.

A differential bearing kit is the narrower option when the job mainly calls for carrier or differential bearings and their races. A master overhaul kit covers a broader rebuild and may add pinion bearings, seals, shims, a pinion nut or crush sleeve, marking compound, and other setup parts. Choose based on the actual repair scope and the parts included in the axle-specific kit.
