A camera relocation bracket or kit can move the original camera to a new mounting position when an aftermarket tailgate, bumper, liftgate, or other accessory blocks or removes its factory location. These kits are usually application-specific, so match the bracket to both your exact vehicle and the aftermarket equipment you're installing.

Check the year, make, model, factory camera or parking-sensor configuration, and the accessory the camera is being relocated onto. Two trucks from the same model family can require different brackets based on model year or equipment. On some vehicles, yes, but you'll usually need a compatible camera interface. Vehicle-specific interfaces can add front, side, or other camera inputs to certain factory displays and may automatically switch views when the vehicle is put in reverse or a turn signal is activated. Check the exact vehicle, factory screen, existing camera equipment, and number of camera inputs the interface supports before buying.

Start with what you're trying to connect. An interface or adapter helps compatible cameras communicate with a factory or aftermarket display. An extension cable adds distance when the existing cable won't reach. A compatible wireless transmitter/receiver can carry the camera's video signal without running a video cable the full length of the vehicle, but the camera and display still need compatible connections and electrical power.

It can. Moving the camera changes its physical viewing position, so the image angle or factory guidance lines may no longer correspond exactly to the original camera location.
